This semester wasn’t really the best semester I had, but I came to realize that in life everything isn’t always good. While pursuing my education career, I was faced with many different obstacles that were thrown my way. This class made me realizes that you always have to be on point with your assignment, or you will get left behind. Overall this class was very educational, and it taught me a lot about how to develop lesson plans. This course was also an eye opener to information that I learned in the past.
This course is a valuable source if you’re really willing to get into the teaching career. Honestly I have learned more in this class than any other educational class that I have taken. It was a lot of hard work that I really couldn’t keep up with. This course also helps me to realize that I procrastinate too much, and this could be a bad choice for me. Even though it was a lot to interpret, I still tried my best to understand what was being taught to me.
My most valuable experience in this class had to complete the digital story. The digital story is a multimedia story that is used to express how a person may feel about themselves or something historic to them. This assignment was very new to me, like all the other assignments but I think I manage to complete it the best way I can. There were also another assignment that was very challenging to me, and it was the lesson plans. Wow! I never knew that a lesson plan would be so difficult to do.
I have notice that there are many different ways of creating a lesson plan, because everyone has their own sense of still when it comes to learning. Currently at the school I work at, the director of the school does the lesson plan totally different to the ones that I have made in this course. Despite the difference between them, they both are design to make sure that each student learns. Each just has different learning methods in which they follow to make the students learn differently. Even though everyone has their own philosophy on education, we all sure the same views as well.
In conclusion, there are many different ways in creating the way you view education. While in this class, I obtain a lot of knowledge of many different assignments. Now I can use what I have learn to educated my students, with all the information that I have overcome while in this class. The class was the nourishment that I needed to help mold me in becoming an inspiring teacher at such a young age. I really did enjoy this class, but I felt that it was very overwhelming with a lot to digest in just one semester. Overall, I will recommend anyone in education to take advantage of the information given in this class.
