What is transformation? My definition on transformation is not only growing into something quite marvelous, but also defining who you are as an individual. Many people are living in the past today, so therefore everything that they think about or do will always be in the past. This is a good example of transformation that the person may lack over time. So people don’t quite transform like how they should, that’s why their some much hatred in society today; due to the lack of transformation. Transformation also plays a big role in how an individual may feel and view the world from their point of view.
An individual who transform their self, can be down to earth; they don’t take everything strictly serious. Why don’t they that are where transformation comes in to play; because it helps you o accept different cultures and religion as if it was your own. Today society has transformed drastically from the saying sex before marriage, back in the days women weren’t’ allowed to has sex with men if they weren’t married. Not today it’s totally the opposite, that’s showing you how society has transform from such a stable environment. Trust me; we have to blame the behaviors on society because it’s the reason why people tend to do things and perceive whatever they want to believe and think.
Transformation also has an advantage on one’s self-concept and self-esteem, whether they want to believe it or not. If you can’t transform, then you can’t evolve into the person that you plan or desire to become. Not everyone can transform, it start with how high you develop a strong self-esteem and your whole concept on life. We have to know how to overcome obstacles, we must always try to believe in our beliefs and always have a positive attitude on the way we see life. Life is all about the way we transform, the plan for humans on earth was to see how well we can grow in understanding individuals not matter the circumstances.
Embracing and accepting is also a part of how we as humans transform, by having to deal with situations on an everyday basis. We have to accept that people will be people; there will be vengeance, distrust, justice and violence. These things are basically ways of life that help people transform into lawyers, doctors, teachers, judges, politicians, police officers, and so on. Something in their lives triggered the way they felt about a situation a why they became the person they are today. Most people don’t get it they think people just wake up feeling a certain way, but most of the time it a new way of them saying; I’m transforming.
To my knowledge transformation can be a part of growth or just a stage that we as humans have to face in life. Whether for the good or the bad we all must go thru a significant change in life. As an individual myself I go thru changes whether it amongst myself, family, peers, or society. I find myself concluding that without transformations, I wouldn’t be who I am today. We all must go thru something to make us say or think I’m going to transform myself into that person that I want to be or need to be.

Reflection # 1
Prof. Joseph McNair
By reading this passage, many have thought why we are reading them; what influence do they have on philosophies of education. Whether we believe in it or not these articles concluded many reasons and questions that are useful to the field of education. First and foremost one must think, what knowledge would we have known without the bringing of the articles. There might have not been any educational theories without many of these passages. How would we have known about who were first here on American soil, how the wheel was invented, how to form our shapes and the meaning of numbers, and the formation of letters; many of these contribution came from somewhere.
Where would we have been without the invention of the wheel, we would probably been using our feet like back in the prehistoric days. Where would we be if no one invented planes, probably walking? The invention of the wheel was one of man’s greatest accomplishments, because it has been used ever since and trusts me it’s not going anywhere no time soon unless someone invents a car that could fly. Come on these invention help created who we are today, without the knowledge of our ancestors we wouldn’t have known anything. They taught us everything, now it’s our time to show and teach the new generation today.
The formation of letters and symbols were ways for prehistoric people to show their way of communication. Still today it is the same way, whether saving a life or the thought of success. Without letters and symbols we would have not known how to read, how to send e-mails, how to send mail, and many more important things. Pictures also played a serious part in communication, growing up many of us have looked at books and just spoke whatever came to our mind without reading. Prehistoric ways of writing, really helped the future generation, without their influence we would have not known basically any knowledge.
Words have also changed overtime from Greek and Roman letters to English words that we now use today. Imagine using Greek words, it’s not much different, but most of the letters would have been complicated and kind of hard for beginners. The times have really changed; people are now being more creative with their choice of words and letters. More and more teachers are now starting to educate their students at a younger age about letters, symbols, and choice of words. Just like how the prehistoric individuals have educated us on their well long history and knowledge.
I found these reading to be very educational, not just only for my knowledge, but for the knowledge of my future students. Wow, this has been a journey for the people who were responsible for these educational readings. I would have never really understood were the history of writings came from, without reading these articles. Everyone has their own way of teaching and I believe that once you’re educated, you should educate others as well. Remember knowledge is the key to success, without that key your considered no one in today’s world.

Born on the tropical island of St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands, which is located in the Caribbean this beautiful 5'4 island gem was born on January 24, 1988 to the most loving parents in the world. This island gem is no other than Shaniece Nerissa Jeffers. I grew up in St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands all my life until I moved to Orlando, FL in May of 2007, and then I relocated to Miami, FL in August of 2007 to pursue my college career as an Early Childhood Elementary Teacher. I’m currently doing so by attending Miami Dade College North Campus where I'm continuing my studies as an Early Childhood Educator. In the mean while, I’m currently a Sales Associate at XXI, where I'm a Team Leader until my dream of becoming a Teacher is complete. Becoming a Teacher wasn’t really my first pick after graduating from the Charlotte Aamalie High School in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Being a Pediatric Nurse was really my first pick, but after taking courses in science; I decided that the medical profession wasn’t for me. Kids have always played a major part in my life, despite not having any of my own. I enjoy working with children, I rejoice when watching them accomplish major steps throughout their lives. That’s is why I’m currently a Big Sister at Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Miami, despite my busy schedule. Teachers have the power of changing a child’s life and I believe that I can make that difference that is why decided majoring in Early Childhood Education. Over the years I have develop an urge in trying to start m own Day Care Facility, I really don’t know where I came from. I think that the passion I have for children have driven me to come up with so many marvelous ideas for the future that I plan to bring for so many young individuals in our society today. Children mean the world to me; I feel that if I had the power and funding I would definitely give and spend them towards the young generation today. Children are the future aspiring individuals in society today and we must make sure they are well nourish for the future ahead. Remember we have to heal the world to make it a better place, not just for us but the children all over the world, they are our future.
